I was born in 1984, live in northern Germany and am a husband and father.
I have always been fascinated by technology, but even more by what technology allows us to discover.
I love history, old castles, fascinating places and seeing familiar locations from completely new perspectives.
That combination eventually led me to drones.
And apparently, I got a little carried away.
It Started with a Parrot
Back in 2012 I bought my very first drone: a Parrot AR.Drone 2.0.
I modified it, added LEDs and experimented with everything I could.
It opened a whole new world for me.
Soon after came DJI – and with it the beginning of travel videos and videos about places that inspired me.
From Flying to Testing
Over the years I traveled a lot, capturing castles, landscapes and hidden places from the air.
I love turning real locations into cinematic drone videos.
That passion naturally grew into tutorials, in-depth reviews and real world tests of drones and gear.
Because good decisions start with honest information
Today this channel is my passion project.

How I Test Drones
I am not particularly interested in telling you what is written on the box – you can read that on your own.
I want to know what happens when you actually use the thing.
My reviews are based on my own testing and experience.
A drone has to convince me in the air, not on a specification sheet.
The same applies to my tutorials.
If something can be explained simply, I see no reason to make it complicated.
My goal is simple: Give you experiences, not marketing.
So you can decide what’s right for you.
Sometimes they perform brilliantly
Sometimes they end up in a tree top.
Both results are useful.
